Crimes against Children
INTCIPOL POLICE
This evil of child sex slavery can, and will, end in our generation if we are willing to own the shame of the cards dealt to us from generations past and then declare with a loud voice: “No More!
“Fighting this global scourge means building a society that leaves no-one behind”
Crimes against children include exploitation, abuse, trafficking, and neglect. These crimes rob children of their innocence and future, leaving lasting physical and emotional scars.

Global Impact of Crimes against Children:
Millions of children worldwide are victims of crimes such as sexual exploitation, forced labor, and trafficking. These crimes not only harm individual children but also perpetuate cycles of poverty and violence.

To help trace missing children, while our human trafficking experts work alongside member countries to rescue child victims of trafficking and forced labor.
Exploitation
The global reach and anonymity of the Internet have greatly facilitated the distribution of child sexual abuse material, and access to it. Offenders can now produce, exchange and even direct live video of children – even babies – being abused. They can also come into direct contact with children via social networks and chat functions in games or apps.
The priority of our Crimes against Children unit is to:
- identify and rescue young victims of sexual abuse;
- block access to child sexual abuse material;
- Prevent offenders from travelling abroad to abuse children or escape justice.
